【2022.1 更新】今天不少朋友在自己的amex賬戶里看到了一個tracker，消費滿$75,000才給guest免費進centurion lounge。其實這個不是新的變化，2021.7的時候就已經說了2023年2月起白金卡就不能免費帶guest進centurion lounge了。把這篇文章頂上來，當做一個友情提醒吧~
【2021.7 更新】AmEx 又把條款更新成2023年2月起guest不再免費了，而且還增加了一個細節說是17歲以下的guest價格是$30而不是普通的$50（需要查證件驗證年齡）。所以這個改動現在就算是坐實了吧… 考慮到最近的漲年費，估計等真的到了2023年，論壇里的好多朋友們也已經不會再持有白金卡了吧…
【2021.4 更新】Amex 已經把 Centurion Lounge 的條款又改回去了，「拉屎往回坐」？但我不覺得這表示 Amex 已經退讓，說實話23年2月起的變動，等到2022年底再宣布都不遲，不知為何提前了近2年發佈出來。我猜測這個變動只是短暫回爐，以後還會再次官宣的。
【2021.4 內容】
Amex Platinum 雖然年費貴，但是高端福利是吸引大家持有的重要原因，其中一個關鍵福利就是持卡人可以免費進入機場的 Amex Centurion Lounge。Amex Centurion Lounge 質量比大部分航司休息室都好，而且白金卡持卡人還能免費帶2位同行人一起進去。
但是從2023年2月起，白金卡就無法免費帶人了。Amex 剛剛更新了 Centurion Lounge 條款（官網鏈接）：
U.S. Basic Platinum Card Members and Additional Platinum Card Members on the account and U.S. Basic Business Platinum Card Members and Additional Platinum Card Members on the account may bring up to two (2) guests per visit into locations of The Centurion Lounge in the U.S., at Hong Kong International Airport and at London Heathrow Airport for no per-visit guest fee (「Complimentary Guest Access」) through January 31, 2023. Effective February 1, 2023, Platinum Card Members, Business Platinum Card Members and Additional Platinum Card Members on the account will be charged a $50 fee for each guest . To receive Complimentary Guest Access at these locations after January 31, 2023, the total eligible purchases on the Platinum Account must equal or exceed $75,000 between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022 and in each calendar year thereafter.
從23年2月1日起，白金卡的同行人需要支付$50/人每次的入場費，除非持卡人在上一個日曆年中在那張白金卡上刷了超過$75k。這對大部分人來說有點太高了。
不過百夫長休息室自從建立以來是越來越擠，就算運通從19年起開始限制只能起飛前3小時進入，依舊很難解決一座難求的問題。所以部分人可能會歡迎這個改變，畢竟潛在的休息室「競爭者」會少很多。
Amex 這次對 Centurion Lounge 的政策修改正好和前段時間傳聞的白金卡漲年費&福利變動有重合，這麼看來當初傳言的福利改動可信度會上升很多，stay tuned!
