根據FlyerTalk和Reddit上的網友報告，2015.10.12日起，紅鳥已經無法用現金以外的方式餵食。紅鳥，享年13個月，R.I.P.。養了紅鳥的同學們，現在要開始考慮換成其他替代產品了，注意換之前一定要先等所有交易結算完畢。

紅鳥的正式名稱叫 Target Prepaid REDcard，是一個可以用來製造消費完成開卡消費任務的工具。目前還活著的比較好用的替代產品如下，請感興趣的讀者自行Google：

  • 服務鳥（American Express Serve, One VIP version）。
  • 藍鳥（Bluebird）。
  • Nationwide Buxx。
  • Money Order。
