Recommended Application Time

  1. We recommend you apply for this card after you have a credit history of at least two years and you are very comfortable with the credit card game.

Summary

1.5% cash back on everything is not impressive compared to Citi Double Cash (DC) which earns 2% cash back everywhere with no annual fee. Besides, HSBC has a bad service comparing to US banks. The sign-up bonus (which is just so so) is the only reason to get it.
