As a resident of Seattle, I am happy to report that expansion of the AMEX Centurion Studio into a full Centurion Lounge at SeaTac International Airport is now complete (ahead of schedule!). The expansion, which includes a new full-service bar, additional seating, and a shower, adds approximately 1,400 square feet of much-needed space to the smallest of AMEX’s seven domestic Centurion Lounges. The expanded space has fantastic views of the tarmac and Mt. Rainier, and provides seating for approximately 50 additional people.
Note that the shower was not available during my most recent visit (March 2017), but should be operational sometime in April 2017.

From Mar. 30th, primary cardholders of the AMEX Platinum (any variety) or AMEX Business Platinum and up to two guests can access any Centurion Lounge for free. Additional guests and non-Platinum AMEX cardholders are eligible to purchase access to the lounge for $50 per day, subject to capacity.
Review
Much like other Centurion Lounge locations throughout the USA, the Centurion Lounge in Seattle stays consistently crowded throughout the day. During my most recent visit, the lounge hit capacity at 10:15 am on a Thursday. Though the food options are relatively limited (finger-foods, snacks, salads) and the only hot item currently available is soup, this is your best option for lounge food or drinks at SeaTac. If you are flying Delta and have the AMEX Platinum card, I would recommend going to the much bigger Delta Sky Lounge on the A Concourse. If you are flying any carrier other than Delta, this is your best lounge option at SeaTac.

New full-service bar. I asked the bartender why there were no bar stools, and she said Washington State law prohibits bar seating in places accessible to minors. However, you can stand at the bar.
Seattle-themed cocktail menu. The morning bartender was just learning her way around this menu, so we stuck with whiskey and wine. A few folks next to us ordered cocktails and seemed to enjoy them.

A variety of sweet snacks, including cookies, pie, caramel apple bars, and rice krispie treats.
