Hyatt opens up status challenge! Update: already dead.

Update: A lot of data points show that his status challenge promo is now dead. If you call in now, you will be told that this promo is targeted and you should ask the travel department in your company. Many people have already registered the status challenge promo, and we don’t know yet whether Hyatt will cancel there eligibility.

Hyatt opens up status challenge!

Call 800-233-1234 & 800-228-3360 and ask the representative to register. I have successfully registered with 0 stay and the Discoverist level granted by Chase Hyatt credit card.

  • Date: April 3rd – July 31st
  • Name: Fast Qualifying (or you could simply ask if there is any status challenge promotion available)
  • Challenge: Complete 4/10/20 qualified nights within this challenge period, and upgrade to Discoverist/Explorist/Globalist level, respectively.
  • Cash Only or Cash+Points counts as qualified night, Points Only doesn’t count.
  • Status valid through: February 2019

Please note that:

  • According to the Hyatt T&C, the suite upgrade awards will only be granted when completed 60 nights in a year. Therefore, we speculate that if you achieved Globalist by registered and completed this status challenge, you should have all the Globalist benefits but not the suite upgrade awards. More data point is needed for this speculation.
  • If the representative declined your request, you could try to tell him/her your Hyatt account number and ask her/him to check if you have this promotion in your account. Please note that there won’t be email confirmation after registration of this challenge, but you can always call the representative to double confirm.
